How quality works in Camping Resort Simulator: what Glamping, Bungalows and Villas ask for
Published: · Cottondream Studios
In short: in Camping Resort Simulator you cannot buy quality: it comes from the spot. Glamping asks for a quality of 54, a Bungalow for 69 and a Villa for 84 out of 100, and an empty field starts at about 30. You raise it with trees and lamp posts right next to the lodging, and by keeping noise and dirt away. The figures are from demo version 0.1.9 (October 2026).
What quality is
Every point on the map has a score from 0 to 100 in six areas: views, nature, peace and quiet, safety, cleanliness and convenience. Press Q to see the quality view on the ground.
For Glamping, Bungalows and Villas, four of them count: views, nature, peace and quiet, and safety. The lodging's quality is the average of those four scores. Cleanliness adds nothing, but it takes points away if the spot is neglected.
What each lodging asks for
- Pitch ($150): no minimum quality. It takes tents, caravans and motorhomes.
- Glamping ($2,200): asks for a quality of 54. Unlocked after serving 12 bookings.
- Bungalow ($3,000): asks for a quality of 69. Also unlocked at 12 bookings.
- Villa ($6,000): asks for a quality of 84. It needs the best corner of the map.
Below its minimum you can still build the lodging, but it is much harder to fill. Click it and its panel tells you what is holding it back.
Where a spot starts
An empty field has 10 for views, 20 for nature, 60 for peace and quiet, and 30 for safety. The average is 30. Almost any spot needs help to reach 54, and a lot of help to reach 84.
How to raise each score
- Nature: trees and palms. Each tree improves nature within about 12 metres, more the closer it stands. Flower beds help too, over a shorter range.
- Safety: lamp posts. A lamp post reaches about 14 metres. The Reception also adds safety to what is near it.
- Peace and quiet: distance from noise. The pool is very noisy, but only within about 9 metres. The playground and the Service Centre can be felt up to about 14 metres. The toilet block, hardly at all.
- Views: you choose them, you cannot build them. They come from the sea and the mountains. The closer to the shore, the better.
- Cleanliness. The Service Centre makes its immediate surroundings dirty, within about 10 metres. Put it near your pitches, but not next to a Glamping.
A recipe for your first Glamping
- Pick a spot near the sea and away from the pool and the playground.
- Place it and click it to see its quality and the quality it asks for.
- Plant three or four trees right next to it.
- Put two lamp posts beside it.
- If it still falls short, add flowers and move away whatever makes noise. The Move tool (V key) lets you rearrange what you have already built.
Common mistakes
- Trees too far away. Beyond 12 metres they do nothing for that lodging.
- Glamping next to the pool. Guests visit leisure from all over the campsite; it does not have to be next door.
- Service Centre right beside the lodging. It is noisy and dirty.
- Building many at once. One well-placed lodging beats several below their minimum.
To start from scratch, read the beginner's guide. The 15 buildings in the demo, with the game's own placement advice, are on the Buildings page. The demo is free on Steam until October 26, 2026.
